GJC Attracts Experienced Hospitality Advisor Jane Coles

The fast growth advisory practice GJC has appointed Jane Coles as an associate to its expanding hospitality division. Jane is an experienced professional with over 30 years’ experience driving financial success within high profile hospitality brands such as Hard Rock Café and The Hideaways Club.

Prior to her appointment, Jane was general manager of luxury boutique resort Etu Moana, where she was responsible for the profit and loss, commercial strategy, guest experience, and driving efficiencies across departments. During her career Jane has worked to establish new ventures across Europe for Hard Rock Café, overseeing the launch of the 250 seat venue in Vienna, managing and training 130 staff members. The successful launch exceeded the initial $8m revenue target by generating over $11m revenue in the first year.

Commenting on the new appointment, GJC CEO Gavin Jones said, “We’re delighted Jane has joined our team of high-calibre portfolio directors and managers. She adds to our growing hospitality division and with a proven track record of managing large teams across multi-site international businesses, she is certainly an asset to our portfolio. We continue to invest in our associate capabilities giving our clients access to experienced and talented professionals across a broad range of disciplines and sectors.”

On joining GJC, Jane explained, “I’m passionate about the hospitality sector and I’m looking forward to working with business owners to create strategies that drive efficiencies and financial growth. Operational robustness has never been more important for business durability and those who invest in developing their business will be the ones who emerge from market challenges with a competitive advantage.”

The company now has over 30 senior consultants advising clients across the UK on business and finance strategy, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and turnaround projects.
