He has led financial transformation programmes including process re-engineering, offshore capabilities, systems development and the embedding of compliant financial reporting controls.

Above anything else, Philip is known as an excellent communicator and a problem solver with hands on experience seeking to drive better data and regular KPI’s that underpin management’s strategy and better business decisions. He prides himself on being able to complete projects to the very highest standard and is completely committed to achieving the highest levels of professionalism.

Commenting on the new appointment, GJC CEO Gavin Jones said: “Our financial team has gone from strength to strength in recent years and the appointment of Philip Ward is another great example of that. This is a huge positive for us, taken at a time that some would call ‘uncertain’. However, at GJC we have a positive attitude and we believe that those organisations with the strongest financial teams are the ones that will truly thrive and not just survive.”
