Richard Sargeant

Richard is a successful entrepreneur, with multi sector advisory experience, spanning across start-up, business growth and scale, fundraising and exit. Recently Richard has been working with various hospitality brands offering guidance and mentorship by leveraging personal experiences to help them avoid common pitfalls and make informed business decisions.

Prior to his appointment, Richard was the brains behind the Handmade Burger brand, and popular quick service chain, Urban Pie. Richard built Handmade Burger Co from concept and first restaurant in Birmingham, into a successful national restaurant chain with 29 company owned locations throughout the UK, a team of over 850, and a combined turnover of £30 million.
