Experienced F&B industry expert Paolo Peretti, has joined GJC Advisory as a senior consultant to head up its newly created hospitality division.
Paolo joins GJC with a wealth of experience from Patisserie Valerie, KFC, Starbucks, SSP, Burger King and TWG Tea. He will lead a full team that includes Martin Ridgeway, an FD with significant experience in the bar, club and live music sector; former Whitbread executive Rajesh Joshi; and Scott Everest who has 25 years of experience in the holiday and hotel sector.
GJC’s CEO Gavin Jones will also be part of hospitality focus having worked at the likes of Whitbread and Travelodge and oversaw a multi-million pound, venture capital investment in a well-known hotel group.
This newly created team, responsible for multi award-winning startups and boosting the fortunes of hotels and the high street alike, is ready for what will undoubtedly be a very different hospitality sector. Economic recession, potential social distancing rules for customers, new guidelines for employees and all on the back of an extended period of closure through lockdown. The hospitality industry has never faced such a daunting and difficult prospect as this, however opportunity will always rise from those ashes and this GJC team will be there as seasoned professionals with unrivalled experience.
