The fast growth advisory practice GJC has appointed hospitality expert Richard Sargeant to join the growing team. Richard is an experienced entrepreneur and business strategist with over 25 years’ experience taking food and beverage brands from initial conception to large scale exit. Richard pulls on his experience to help mentor and coach businesses, providing advice and direction to ensure they can grow and prosper, whilst also avoiding some of the mistakes he’s made. Saving themselves time and money.
Prior to his appointment, Richard was the brains behind the Handmade Burger Co brand, and popular quick service chain, Urban Pie. Richard built Handmade Burger Co from its initial idea and concept, into a successful national restaurant chain with 29 company owned locations throughout the UK, a team of over 850, and a turnover of £30 million.

The company now has over 30 senior consultants advising clients across the UK on business and finance strategy, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and turnaround projects.
