The fast growth business consultancy GJC has boosted its financial expertise team with the appointment of Simon Bower.
Simon has over 20 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, operating in Professional Practice and specialising in strategic and restructuring work. During that time, he has worked with a broad range of clients from Owner Managed Businesses right through to listed PLC’s
Over the last 20 plus years, Simon has built up a reputation as an astute and sharp operator within the Healthcare, Hospitality and Motor Retail sectors as well as with and Financial Institutions.
During his time as CFO (and later COO) with Zenith Hygiene Group plc, Simon oversaw a seven-year continuous, double-digit, year-on-year growth, seeing turnover increase from £32m to £85m. He was part of the senior executive team that negotiated and delivered a £100m sale of the Group to Bain Capital, in April 2018, after successfully dealing with a CMA review process.
